The nation’s longest running dinner theatre, Dracula’s, who tore off the COVID Mask and reopened earlier this month, have announced Sunday Shows for the first time!
Dracula’s re-opened July 10 with a reduced capacity initially on Friday and Saturday nights, and the response was overwhelming with these nights completely selling out weeks in advance.
From July 23, the team added Thursday night shows which are proving to be popular and also filling fast. Dracula’s are now thrilled to be announcing Sunday Shows will be added to the mix.
COVID Safe is the new black as Vampires the been working feverishly behind the scenes to ensure all the boxes are ticked for patrons, while still delivering a cracking night out with the usual Dracula’s humour, and there is now a wait list every weekend for tickets.
Operations Manager Luke Newman says the team are ecstatic to be back doing what we have done since the 80’s and at the response to Dracula’s reopening.
“We were running at record numbers right up until our forced 17-week closure and whilst at first we didn’t know what to expect with regard to demand for tickets, we immediately saw Fridays and Saturdays selling out weeks in advance, so introducing Thursdays and Sundays within a month of reopening is incredibly encouraging”.
“Having our entire operation paused for such a long time gave us an opportunity to look at what we do, focus on the best practice for our business, and work on our plans to reopen while ticking all the required boxes to be safe and compliant” adds Newman.
The trial Sunday Shows will commence an hour earlier than Thursday to Saturday shows to give patrons the full decadence, side-splitting humour, mouth-watering dinner treats and tequila laced cocktails with the hit show MUERTOS that finishes at a more manageable “school night” time of 9pm.
Dracula’s Cabaret in Broadbeach is open Thursday to Saturday each week, plus regular Sunday's!
